Petition Action

Follow the National Police Chiefs Council and decriminalise cannabis possession

Petition Details

Days after the chief constable of West Midlands Police said that people caught with personal amounts of cannabis wouldn't be criminalised, the National Police Chiefs' Council gave permission for police forces to stop arresting cannabis offenders. The government needs to pass this as an official law!

Additional Information

The fact that the police want cannabis to be be decriminalised in order to help the british public and young teens succeed in life should be front page news... it appears the government is trying to keep this on the down low in order to stop an official bill being passed in government! But this NEEDS to happen! The police have already done everything in their power to effectively decriminalise but the government should acknowledge this and pass it! Cannabis has more than 3 medical applications!
