Abolish the position: Speaker of the house - replace with a credible alternative
British politics are being made a mockery of and shaped by an individual who is neither elected or held accountable for their actions.
The current speaker of the house has shown in recent months that the position of speaker is not above political opinions or bias. A new fairer alternative to appointing an already active political figure to the role has to be considered

In particular, we're not sure what role you'd like to replace the position of Speaker with or how it would differ from the current role.
