Petition Action

The people have no confidence in parliament

Petition Details

We demand that all MPs be subject to a no confidence vote by their constituents, if they lose that vote they are automatically deselected and a by election is called, the ballot requires a 60% in favour of deselection on the votes cast.

Additional Information

The country is divided and parliament are causing a further divide. The vote should be similar to local election results. Each of the MPs will only be subject to one no confidence vote per term as set down by the fixed term parliament act. The question should be added to the local elections ballot asking people to vote if they have confidence in their MP. This ballot is offered automatically during their term in office, so constituents can remove MPs during office not having to wait up to 5 yrs.
