Put a stop to Council Tax increases with a reduction in services
For many years Council tax has increased year on year, this year it’s gone up an average 5-6%, over the last 2 years that’s an extra £16 or so a month for my household on band D. How can this continue when the service provided is reduced over time i.e bin collections now every 2 weeks.

We can't accept your petition because local authorities are responsible for setting the rate of council tax, not the UK Government or Parliament.
You could start a new petition calling for a cap on the level of increase to council tax or more government funding for local authorities or for if these are things you would like to see happen.
