change law on child tax credit for legacy system and universal credit.
currently parents get child tax credits and child benefit for there children even when they reach 16 this must stop. when a child turns 16 and stays in approved training they are becoming adults and parents cant keep getting child tax credits when there children are becoming adults its wrong......
child tax credits child benefit and universal credit element should stop when a child turns 16 and they should be able to apply for a payment in there own right just imagine a child turns 18 gets married he is an adult he goes on to jsa he is an adult but if he goes in to college his parents or guardian gets child benefit and child tax credit so he is a child its rubbish system needs to change, after 16 your learning about the outside world so your an adult, with your own bank account.
