meat tax for at the very least processed meats. They’re class 1 carcinogen
Processed meats are a class 1 carcinogen. They also have a lot of saturated fat which is extremely bad for our hearts and can clog arteries. They can be damaging to our weight. The tax can help subsidise fruit and vegetables and let them be affordable for low income faimilies.
The world health organisation says they are extremely damaging to our health. The China study shows that the increase of processed meats has a positive correlation with disease and I’ll health. Cows release a lot of methane into the atmosphere with is bad for global warming. We need to start taking responsibility!
