Review whether child abuse laws are fit for purpose.
Too many cases of child sexual abuse are ignored. It’s difficult to find evidence to prosecute people for the abuse of people at a very young age. There is also little support for survivors, which leads to years of mental damage.
A review must include whether to lower the standard of evidence to on balance of probabilities and the amount of support available to survivors.
