it's finally time to pay nurses and midwives what they are worth

Additional Information

Since nursing became recognised as a profession in it's own right and roles have become extended beyond anyone's expectations, nurses have been taken for granted by successive governments and the general public.
We have had pathetic pay increases below the rate of inflation for at least the last 25 years, pay freezes and ludicrous working conditions and staffing levels. Our targets have become ludicrous and it is time for our voice to be heard. We care but we need to be cared for. Please add your voice and let us be heard once and for all.
