Introduce A New National Voting System
Set up a new secure electronic “National Voting System” to enable everyone on the electoral role to vote electronically on all matters of significant public interest.
This new voting system will introduce a greater democratic process that is faster and more decisive and will transfer the responsibility of national decision making back to the public. Such a system will ensure a greater engagement of the public in national decision-making and will be less influenced by political party allegiances.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. In particular, we're not sure which decisions you want to be made via a new national electronic voting system or whether you want it to replace the existing system of government.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
There's already a petition about limiting the number of MPs and requiring them to consult the public on all votes, which you might like to sign if it calls for something you want to happen.
