Make mental health education a compulsory part of the school curriculum
Mental health problems are a rising issue, with a lack of awareness, education and funding something needs to be done. Making mental health education a compulsory part of the school curriculum would ensure increased awareness, support and prevention.
1 in 4 adults will experience mental illness each year in the UK with 75% of mental illnesses starting before the age of 18.
Suicide is the biggest killer of youth in the UK.
51% believe young people their age would be embarrassed if they was diagnosed with mental illness.
This and so much more is why prevention/education is key in helping mental health.
