Petition Action

Remove protesters from London by physical force

Petition Details

The climate change protesters are causing a commotion in the capital and disrupting traffic and making our government spend money on the policing when they could be using the spending knife crime in the capital.

Additional Information

Our police officers have been denied leave over the bank holiday weekend as they have to control peacefully the protesters who are disrupting society.

Sajid Javid has also said that the police should use the ‘full force of the law’ so they should be removing them and stopping the disruption in our capital. The metropolitan police should be doing what the french police are doing to tackle the protesters.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We can't accept your petition because the management of protests is an operational decision for the police and not one for the UK Government or Parliament.

The Mayor of London is responsible for the Metropolitan Police. You could start a petition to the Mayor of London and London Assembly here:
