Introduce organic waste collection for all residences in Hammersmith & Fulham.
If all houses in the UK had organic waste collection it would have the equivalent effect on UK emissions as taking one in four cars off the road. If Andy Slaughter wants his borough to be the greenest in the UK he has no excuse but to act on this issue, now.
The London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham is one of the capital’s wealthiest. In its own words:
‘We are determined to become the greenest borough in the country.
We want to drive down air pollution, increase recycling rates, and get people involved in making their streets greener, so everyone can be proud of their neighbourhoods.’
