Encourage more working class young people to attend university
There is a class divide within Britian. If you are a child from a working class background your chances of reaching higher education is less than 2 and half times that of a middle class. Social barriers need to be broken and there needs to be more educated people from a lower class background.
The evidence for those of a working class background attending university:
The independent posted an article showing that if you are from a w/c background you have only 19.9% of a chance of attending HE.
Class segregation is apparent within britian: not so long ago the London Council creates a children’s park only allowing ‘rich’ children. If we had more educated w/c we could close the class divide more

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand you are concerned about access to university, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do to encourage more working class young people to go to university.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
