Replace the BBC Board with an independent regulator

Petition Details

There is increasing public concern over bias at the BBC. Important news stories are often ignored and individual presenters regularly impose their personal views on current affairs. There is no evidence that the current BBC Board is willing or able to intervene.

Additional Information

In 2016 Andrew Marr "explained" the referendum using inflammatory language: “Waves of migration and globalised culture washed among us, eroding our sense of self. Whole communities changed colour…”

All of the MEPs to have appeared on Question Time in the last five years are anti-EU.

BBC reporters are not supposed to conduct interviews on subjects on which they have publicly expressed opinions but many, including Andrew Neil and John Humphrys, do so.
