Do not allow Trump a state visit to the UK due to his civil rights violations.
The government has arranged a state visit for Trump under the radar of Brexit chaos despite his violation of rights of people of colour, refugees, the LGBT+ community to name a few. It is disgraceful to offer such a person the honor of a state visit to the UK and the offer must be revoked.
Some examples of rollbacks of civil rights, just from 2019:
Jan 4, stopped responding to UN investigators over potential human rights violations in the United States.
Feb 15, announced he would declare a national emergency on the southern border.
Feb 22, issued rule to undermine the family planning program’s ability to properly serve its patients and provide quality care.
Mar 25 said Affordable Care Act should be struck down.
