Make Space Capsule style Pet Carrier backpacks illegal
This style of backpack is designed to carry cats and small dogs around and are covered in a plastic bubble to display the animal
They cause unnecessary suffering to pets when used in hot weather and/or strong sunlight because the plastic bubble acts as a magnifier raising the temperature inside the pod to dangerous levels and causing the enclosed animal to overheat and become stressed.
It has been proved that animals suffer in enclosed vehicles even with ventilation during hot weather. These backpacks are far worse
they are rapidly becoming the latest must-have fashion accessory for small pets and should be banned
