Adopt MANDATORY Brake-Assist
Proposed EU mandatory brake-assist by 2009 never made-it-through; increasingly cars, trucks, vans... without off-the-shelf technology are-viewed as dangerous, over-priced, undesirable.
Given the-UK exports most cars, trucks, vans... we desperately-need to focus-on-quality.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
It would assist potential signers of the petition if it explained what 'brake-assist' is. However, it is not clear whether the petition is aimed at requiring brake-assist to be fitted in all vehicles used on UK roads (whether manufactured in the UK or not), or whether it is aimed at requiring brake-assist to be fitted in all vehicles manufactured in the UK (whether driven here or made for export).
