Crack down on Chris Packham using his BBC status to further his own agenda
Chris Packham the Springwatch presenter is using his influence as a BBC presenter to push his own agenda on conservation.
His recent move to get Natural England to ban the shooting of corvids not only impacts endangered species such as the curlew but people’s livelihoods, farms and business

The BBC is an independent body governed by a Royal Charter. Under the terms of that Charter, the BBC is operationally and editorially independent of government and there is no provision for the government to intervene in the BBC’s day-to-day operations.
