Take urgent action on Climate Change
To stop climate change we should, Stop all new homes from being connected to the gas pipeline by Aug 2019, Offer a subsidy to take all homes off the gas pipeline by Dec 2029, Dramatically increase the number of electric and hydrogen refilling stations around the UK, Ban the import of coal and gas
Ban the production of gas central heating systems by Dec 2021, Make all energy providers use only renewable energy sources by Dec 2030, Make a climate change tax adding 60% onto the value of petrol and diesel vehicles, charging additional tax on plane journeys (unless the airline plants more trees to make their carbon footprint zero), charge petrol and diesel vehicles per mile driven, charge a tax on items being shipped to the UK unless the boat uses carbon neutral sources, planting more trees
