Make it official, if an MP quite a party to stand in a by-election.
There have been MP’s and whips that’s have quit their parties and then standing as an independent MP.
MP’s have stood on their ex parties manifesto to be in that party and represent their constituents. The MP’s still have their ex parties seats and constituents aren’t happy about it.
Constituents voted for MP’s to be in a party to represent them in their constituency, now MP’s have quit their parties they have broke the promise of the manifesto (if that makes sense)? to all constituents.
MP’s quit parties so they shouldn’t be allowed to still have their ex parties seats and should be ‘official’ for all MP’s whips etc to stand in a by-election, which everyone wants and asking them to do.
