Compulsory labelling of air-freighted food to help make informed buying choices
The recent Attenborough documentary on climate change included the truly shocking statistic that air freighted food carried 100 times the carbon footprint of sea freighted food. Clear labelling would enable anyone who wants to avoid buying air freighted food to do so.
