Petition Action

Implement a Green New Deal in order to prevent a climate catastrophe.

Petition Details

With the Youth Climate strikes and Extinction Rebellion protests raising awareness of climate change, MPs must debate and consider implementing a bold new vision for a green economy: The Green New Deal. If government declare a climate emergency, then the Green New Deal must be taken seriously.

Additional Information

The Green New Deal was a proposed Bill offered to parliament by Caroline Lucas. It is gaining support from many other Labour MPs, but it needs debate. If the UK implement such a radical transformation of the economy, then we will lead the way globally. This is when Britain is best: leading the way with bold new visions of how to live and grow.
