Ban plastic lids for takeaway cold drink cups by 30th April 2022.
Too many people are buying takeaway soft drinks from fast food outlets. Plastic straws are being phased out so why aren't the kids? If the drink isn't a hot tea/coffee then there is no need for it to be covered.
There is currently a petition for the return of plastic straws to McDonald's which currently hs over 30,000 signatures. This is obsurd.
