Stockport MBC to arrange procession for Stockport County’s promotion.
The fall of Stockport County from the football league is a disgrace, Stockport council should be helping the town celebrate the achievement of Stockport county gaining promotion to the national league and one step closer back to the football league.
The council should arrange the main A6 outside the town hall to be closed so that an open top bus procession can take place, this is a fantastic achievement that needs celebrating! It will also help local businesses.
