Make right the wrong this government has done to the windrush generation
I come to this country in December 1968. I never had any problem finding work or getting by in general. I would consider myself a very good law abiding citizen.
In 2012 I needed help as I could not work because of a broken leg.I was let down very badly by this government.
Became I had no proof of my status, I lost my job, could not get any benefits. I only survived because of help from family and friends.
I just wish there was some way I could open the governments eyes and show them they should not trample over the little people like they did with the windrush generation.
