Discuss: the UK Government is unable to deal with the Climate Emergency.
A five year political term of office, the personal career ambitions of our MP's and concerns about damaging the economy means that effective action will be minimal and hence inadequate.
We are facing catastrophic global problems and a devastating future says David Attenborough but government ministers dismiss public protest and effective action seems unlikely. https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m00049b1/climate-change-the-facts

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
