Replace the plastic lids at fast food chains with environmentally friendly lids.
We made a step in the right direction... Mcdonalds started using paper straws! We have ways to get yet though so let's continue the movement. No more plastic lids!
Just getting people to turn down a straw is a gateway to a more sustainable lifestyle. “It’s a simple step that anybody can take to address the global plastic problem,” Lofflin said. “You use a straw for 10 minutes, and it never goes away.”
