Amend the UK Government and Parliament Petitions website.
During the 2016 referendum a person voting must have been 18 or over on the day, they must also have been a UK citizen living in the UK, and had just one vote.
The petition website does not require any these criteria, if you have more than one email address you can sign a petition more than once.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because we aren't sure what action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take. The petitions system already has measures in place to prevent petitions being signed fraudulently.
At present British citizens can sign petitions if they live or are serving overseas. You could start a new petition to make it so that only people who live in the UK can sign petitions if that is something you would like to see happen.
