Petition Action

to make ALL Blue Badge Disabled (private or public) bays to be legally enforced.

Petition Details

Abled body drivers taking advantage of Disabled Bays only because the bays are near to where ever they wish to go and have no respect or concern for the welfare of a less abled body person.

Additional Information

Practically every supermarket and Council in the land provide Blue Badge parking bays which are regularly abused by lazy, couldn't care less, selfish people who are more concerned about getting what they want rather than the well being of a more unfortunate person.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The UK Government and Parliament are not responsible for enforcing the rules on parking in disabled bays. If there is a specific location you have concerns about, you may wish to raise this with the relevant council or private parking provider.

You could also raise your issue with a local councillor who represents you. You can use this page to find out who your local councillors are, and how to contact them:
