Release information related to the trial of baseline and related panel
Plans to formally test 4 year olds and store data for 7 years have been highly criticised. The Dfe are now refusing to release full information about findings from the recent trial or the names of those who shaped the test. If schools are expected to use this test, the Dfe need to be transparent.
Information from the trial must be shared so that parents, carers, and schools understand what children and staff are being required to undertake.
The fact the Dfe won’t be open about findings from the trial implies all concerns and criticisms are well founded.
