Prosecute people who wrongly accuse other people of rape.
There have been many cases when both men and women have been accused of rape, their life changes forever and it’s something that will never be forgotten! How is it fair that the accuser walks away from court without any sort of punishment?
To lie on oath in a court room and ruin someone’s life is wrong. Help make a change by signing this petition and maybe just maybe, people will stop accusing others of rape.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We're not sure exactly what you would like the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Making a false allegation of a crime may already in some circumstances lead to a jail sentence - for example, if someone is found guilty of perverting the course of justice. In other cases, people who are accused of making false accusations may be prosecuted for wasting police time.
It is not therefore clear to us how you would like the law to be changed.
