Help veterans convert military qualifications to nationally recognised ones.

Petition Details

It is very difficult for veterans to convert some qualifications gained in the military to mainstream, nationally recognised qualifications, especially if you've been out of the military for some time.

Additional Information

I want the Government to fund a scheme to help veterans convert their military qualifications. This will help their civilian careers.

Quote from a lt col who tried to get some help:
"I have exhausted all sources in Lyneham, there is no way to map the REME qualifications, awarded back then, to current qualifications I’m afraid."
