Petition Action

To safeguard our climate, wildlife and wellbeing outlaw felling of mature trees.

Petition Details

Introduce a presumption against felling any mature tree.
Large trees grow faster and absorb CO2 faster than young trees.
They host insects, birds and small mammals; their canopies reduce wind speeds, trap dust, absorb pollutants and cool air.
Trees help people's mental and physical health.
