Classify electric assisted kick scooters exactly the same as push bikes
By classifying electric kick scooters the same push bikes hundreds if not thousands of people can make use of a very practical, cost effective and eco friendly mode of transport. Opening up their use on roads and bike lanes.
These devices share more than 90% of the characteristics a bike has so should have the same rights on the road. They are also a similar size and speed with a like stopping distance.
Also its 2019 how is it we can't get a new technology classified yet people granted the Freedom of the City of London have the legal right to herd a flock of sheep over London Bridge?
