There is no need for an English Literature GCSE it should be removed from GCSEs.
English literature is a very time consuming subject and can be boring for students who don't enjoy it. People can also argue that it brings no real benefit to the students as they are looking at someone else's work. If it isn't to be removed from GCSEs it should be optional and not compulsory.
