Petition to stop breeding dogs for testing, in British puppy farms
The UK government have just approved a new puppy farm in Grimston, near Hull, where puppies will be specifically bredĀ for animal testing. A facility already exists in Harlan, Cambridgeshire, where approximately 3,000 Beagles are bred every year, to be cut open and experimented on, while still alive.
This is completely unnecessary, there are a number of different methods for testing, that mimic the human body much more accurately. The following articles give examples of this:
1) https://www.crueltyfreeinternational.org/why-we-do-it/alternatives-animal-testing
2) https://www.peta.org/issues/animals-used-for-experimentation/alternatives-animal-testing/
You can't sign this petition because it is now closed. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
