Stop paying MPs for refusing to do their job.
Stop public payment to any member of national or devolved UK governments who refuse to do the job they were elected for by refusing to attend their duties in UK national or devolved government assemblies.
This includes Northern Ireland members of parliament who refuse to present themselves at Westminster and devolved members who refuse to present at Stormont to form a devolved government and any other MPs of similar attitude.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for MPs' pay. The Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) is responsible for deciding on MPs' expenses and pay. IPSA is independent of both Parliament and Government.
You can find out how to contact IPSA here:
http://www.theipsa.org.uk/about-us/contact-us/
The UK Parliament and Government also aren't responsible for how individual MPs choose to represent their constituents.
You could start a new petition about something the UK Parliament and Government are responsible for. For example, you could start a new petition asking the UK Parliament and Government to take back responsibility for pay and expenses and introduce a new system based on attendance at national legislatures, if that's what you'd like to happen.
