Reduce the rate young people go to prison by introducing more empowering tactics
The youth have been pushed into a pipeline of crime with no rehabilitation opportunities to initiate change.
This school to prison pipeline has become a way of dealing with young people stuck in a Web of destruction due to family issues, lack of education, poverty, low self esteem and fear.
In the past year over 2000 children have been killed or seriously injured by knife crime in and around the capital, thus has been an alarming cry for help in certain communities that have been highly affected by this current situation, this law to lock away young people that commit these crimes without a chance to change and understand the drive behind what is causing these problems, there are major issues with poverty and cultural discipline in certain areas why we now have to tackle the fatality rate.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand you are concerned about the use of prison sentences for young people, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
