Make disposable BBQs and fires illegal on moorland and public spaces
So far in 2019 there have been several moorland fires across the country.
One of the worst was in Marsden and devastated 10sq kilometres of land killing wildlife and destroying a £360,000 habitat project.
We want new legislation making BBQs or fires on moorland or public space illegal
A temporary BBQ and fire ban has been brought in by Kirklees Council but we want a nationwide law with heavier fines and potential court action.
