People with Autism have high levels of anxiety and find it stressful waiting for appointments to access a specialist for a medical condition diagnosis that a GP can’t provide. A quicker referral time is needed

Additional Information

Many people with Autism find it extremely difficult waiting for appointments to access a consultant to diagnose their conditions for health related issues, sometimes it can take up to 18 weeks or longer to see a specific consultant, many people with autism find this extremely stressful and their anxiety is magnified
