Fund alternative therapies for the menopause across England
Many women are unable to take HRT and forced to find and fund alternative treatments to help the debilitating symptoms of menopause which increase rather than decrease as the menopause progresses, leaving permanent health problems. Also The Menopause affects relationships and working lives/ability.
Women living in areas where there are no specialist menopause clinics are left with the choice of HRT, anti-depressants or blood pressure medications!!! There is evidence that many alternative remedies could help the menopause - such as Acupuncture. Aromatherapy, Homeopathy, Diet and Nutrition. Exercise such as Yoga and weight bearing exercise and Counselling. Each and every one of these treatments cost money.
