Members of Parliament should no longer receive expenses
Members of Parliament claim to be public servants. Such service should demand sacrifice on their part. The opposite is true. Regardless of status, nearly every MP receives over 200,000 pounds per annum when expenses are included.
One MP used her government credit card to pay for her Amazon Prime subscription

The Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) is responsible for deciding on MPs' expenses and pay. IPSA is independent of both Parliament and Government.
