A police investigation into the funding of the Brexit Party.
The leader of the Brexit Party and one of the MEP candidates in the European elections taking place on the 23rd of May 2019 has confirmed that they are funded by the Russians when speaking to Channel 4.
When a reporter questioned Nigel Farage the leader of the Brexit Party, “who’s paying for this operation now, for all your bodyguard?” he replied “Russians.”
As a leader of a political party we must hold him to his words and request the police to investigate to where the funding for his party has come from.

The Electoral Commission regulates party finances. It is independent of both the Government and Parliament.

It would be a decision for the police, rather than the Government or Parliament, whether to investigate any alleged breaches of electoral law.
