Petition Details

Abusive parents have been granted access to children against the child’s wishes and feelings.

Children can be at risk every contact session as courts have decided “contact at all costs” as more important.

Additional Information

The APPG on Domestic Violence report shows that nearly 70% of family and Cafcass cases involve domestic abuse yet most remain UNTRAINED.

Employing highly trained people like Independent Domestic Violence Advisors is VITAL to advise the courts on cases involving domestic abuse & the safeguarding of children YET this isn’t done

It’s NOT about stopping contact it’s about safeguarding children with SUITABLE contact per case.
