Require all takeaway food in fully recyclable containers/packaging
Many takeaway food containers are single use plastic tubs/pots. By making it a legal requirement to use only fully recyclable or biodegradable containers in all takeaway foods we could reduce plastic disposal.
There have been attempts to encourage food providers to reduce their plastic use but to no avail. Only legisis likely to force change on a wholesale scale
