Arm all UK front-line Police Officers with firearms
In recent months, crime rates have soared with an increase in car thefts, burglaries, robberies and ram raids on banks and post offices. Crimes that have been caught by the police in progress have recently ended up with officers getting attacked and injured due to not being sufficiently equipped.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We're not sure what action you'd like the UK Government or Parliament to take.
If you like, you could start a new petition asking the Government to require all police officers in England to undergo firearms training. You could only ask for this to become mandatory for police in England because policing is a devolved matter.
