We call upon the Government to nationalise British Steel immediately.
Our steel industry has been under attack for many years with mergers, takeovers, the last being by Greybull who have now pulled the plug on a Company that is an essential and valuable asset to the nation.
Taking British Steel in to public ownership will allow the government as the owner to support it without breaking any EU rules.
