Give 16 year olds the right to vote
Over the last few years we have seen older generations take power away from young people on key issues like the climate crisis, Brexit and austerity. Teenagers have never been more informed or politically engaged and they deserve a say of their future & the future of the planet.
Generation Z (youth born after 1996) is more politically engaged than any generation before. The March for Our Lives movement, Greta Thunberg and the #FreePeriods movement prove that young people are desperate to have a say on their future and have an impact on topics like the environment, Brexit and austerity - things that will effect the rest of their lives and their country.
