Following the abuse scandal of Whorlton Hall, ensure the closure of institutions
The panorama programme reporting abuse occurring in Durham highlighted an important issue ongoing in Britain that seems to get lost with Brexit. It’s important that we value people with learning disabilities as ‘people’ and not abuse, mistreat or degrade. We need change before more abuse occurs....
