Make turtle nesting sites inaccessible to humans and other animals
Turtles are a big part of our planet, but they are now endangered as they face too many challenges. The main one is humans we pollute their homes with plastic and we kill their young ones. That's why you should sign this petition to help them in the early stages of their lives.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because we aren't sure what action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take to make turtle nesting sites inaccessible to humans and other animals.
You might be interested to know about the UK Government's Blue Belt programme, which aims to protect the marine environment around the UK's Overseas Territories. These include Ascension Island, which is a globally significant nesting site for green turtles:

You could start a new petition calling for the Government to provide more funding for the Blue Belt programme if that is something you would like to see happen.
